Mani, an Iranian rock star living in New York, receives a late night call from Lou, a model turned actress in Paris. Lou warns him that beyond her feeling overwhelmed and missing him, she’s been faced with truly unusual experiences. Mani shrugs it off to focus on his music career, facing his own challenges with a label that is restricting his creativity. Meanwhile, somewhere in the Patagonian desert, Max Volf, a formerly respectable scientist, attributes his absence at home to a looming cosmic threat and warns his unimpressed talent manager wife Yara of a cosmic threat. News spreads like wildfire in the friends’ circle, where individual day-to-day worries and personal challenges are unexpectedly replaced by real concerns of a looming apocalypse. As rumors of a hoax are replaced by real separations and even death, can Mani, Lou, Max and Yara overcome their disbeliefs and come together to save the world?
